MA Bar Association Dial-A-Lawyer (Boston) - 1st Wednesday of the Month

Topics:
  • Access to Justice

On the first Wednesday of each month, Massachusetts Bar Association attorneys gather at the MBA's Boston Office from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to provide free, basic legal information by telephone. The mission of the program is to assist the people of Massachusetts that have fallen through the cracks of the legal and criminal justice system.

Twice a year, in the spring and fall, the Dial-A-Lawyer Program, is offered specifically to the general public in Western Mass. Also, every fall, MBA members participate in an Ask-A-Lawyer call-in program, presented jointly by the MBA, WBZ Call for Action and WBZ NewsRadio 1030. The program provides a lifeline to Massachusetts residents seeking answers to their legal questions, who may not be able to afford a lawyer or do not know where to turn for legal assistance.
