Judge Winik, who recently retired from the Northeast Housing Court and is now on recall status, will share his thoughts about the creative possibilities and limits related to the exercise of judicial authority, including what a judge can realistically do to help the parties resolve their disputes and the challenge of judging large numbers of cases with pro se litigants. He will also share his observations of lawyer conduct (the good, the bad and the ugly) and his insights about the meaning of access to justice.

Senior Partners luncheons are a good place to learn something new, meet other members of the pro bono community, and get involved in interesting volunteer legal opportunities.
