ICE Detention Training Session #6: Stays of Removal with ICE, EOIR, and the First Circuit

The BBA, in partnership with the PAIR Project, is hosting an ICE Detention Training Series for attorneys of all experience levels. After attending the overview session and at least one additional training, attorneys can volunteer for a removal defense case with PAIR. More details on volunteer expectations and the series are available here.

In this final session, we will discuss how to seek a stay of removal for your detained client. The training will address the requirements for filing a stay of removal with ICE, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the First Circuit when a Petition for Review is pending.
