Join us for a conversation with Kendra Albert, a Clinical Instructor with the Cyberlaw Clinic, and Ria Tabacco Mar, a senior staff attorney with the national American Civil Liberties Union’s Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender & HIV Project. Come hear from Ms. Tabacco Mar as she reflects, as a member of the litigation team, on the LGBTQ Title IV discrimination cases before the Supreme Court this October. She will also share her perspective on some of her other cases at the ACLU such as the Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission matter as well as her prior work as Assistant Counsel at the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund.
Co-sponsored by American Constitution Society – HLS Chapter and HLS Lambda.
This event is a part of HLS’s celebration of National Pro Bono Week. Lunch will be provided. RSVPs are helpful, but not necessary.
