The American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division is presenting a webinar entitled Serving on Non-Profit Boards: Tips for Young Lawyers on January 29, 2020 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM.

Serving on a non-profit board can be a great way to get more involved in the local community and contribute to a cause that is personally meaningful. Lawyers think analytically and are good at identifying risk which makes them wonderful candidates for nonprofit board service.

This program will provide tips for lawyers considering joining a nonprofit board, as well as provide some practical and ethical considerations for the lawyer who has been asked to provide legal advice to the nonprofit on whose board she or he sits.
