Friday, March 26, 2021 – Military Legal Assistance: Understanding Mediation and Negotiation
Time:
11:00 a.m. – 2:20 p.m. ET (3 hours of CLE requested)
Topic: This educational program will focus on mediation and negotiation, particularly for attorneys who assist military members and their families. It will cover the essential elements of the mediation and negotiation process; provide scenarios to illustrate frequently occurring conflicts arising in legal issues that servicemembers face, such as family law, landlord-tenant disputes, debt collection, and consumer cases; and discuss how to advise a pro se client for a mediation.
