This one-hour webinar will provide advocates with an introduction to pursuing a petition for review from a decision of the Board of Immigration Appeals in the Ninth Circuit. CGRS attorneys will walk through the process from filing the petition for review to steps to take after a decision, and discuss practical considerations such as communication with government counsel, motions practice, and preparation for oral argument. They will address common concerns such as where to find help, how to handle intervening case law or changed circumstances potentially affecting the claims, and how to simultaneously pursue relief before the agency and the court. Questions may be submitted in advance on the registration form.
