Grand Rounds is an opportunity for a small group of new attorneys and attorneys new to family law to learn how the Probate and Family Court works from key players inside the court including a judge, judicial case managers, Registry of Probate staff, and probation staff. The focus is on practice tips and practical dos and don'ts that are the key to successful practice in the court.

Participants will also observe in the courtroom for part of the morning and then discuss what they saw with group leaders, both experienced practitioners.

Participation in Grand Rounds is intended for attorneys who are or plan to be engaged in pro bono work through VLP/Senior Partners or the Massachusetts Bar Association.

The group will gather at 8:30 a.m. on the 4th floor of the Brooke Courthouse in Courtroom 4. Maureen Jones Devine and Haskell Kassler, both Senior Partners for Justice mentors, will be leading the group.
