New Developments in Military Pension Division: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

This program will focus on the Uniformed Services Former Spouse Protection Act and how it pertains to division of pensions in family law cases. Our panel will discuss the basics of military pensions and of the Act; give practice pointers; and provide a specific focus on recent developments—both in amendment of the Act as well as in the courts—that dramatically change how pensions are valued and divided in family law cases involving current and former military members.
