Substantive training will be provided on the debt collection industry, common defenses to consumer debt collection suits, and litigating Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims in these cases. Practical training will be provided on how to represent a low-income consumer in negotiations and small claims trials.

This training is for practitioners of all experience levels as well as law students.
