Evidence strongly suggests that there are racial disparities in the choice of bankruptcy chapter filing and consumer debt collection cases. Please join us for a presentation and conversation on this critical topic!

We will be focusing on national and local trends in bankruptcy filings and VLP-specific data on bankruptcy filings and consumer cases. We will also discuss what appropriate measures consumer and bankruptcy practitioners can take to maximize a client’s ability to seek financial peace of mind.

This presentation will be led by Tufts University Tisch Scholar and former VLP Consumer/Bankruptcy Intern Rabiya Ismail and Consumer/Bankruptcy Staff Attorney Colin Harnsgate.
