This panel will bring together leaders from both the immigration space and the labor space to discuss the intersection of the two areas and how we can create a more just and equitable society that supports immigrant workers, particularly in light of COVID-19.

During this panel, immigration and labor leaders will talk through: The prominence of immigrants in our workforce -- from agriculture and disaster recovery to healthcare and education -- and their importance in spurring COVID-19 recovery; The lingering impact of COVID-19 on working immigrant communities, specifically around workplace regulations and health and safety; What we’ve done right thus far and what we need to do better, including what policies we need to see from the Biden administration to support immigrant workers; How policies like the Citizenship for Essential Workers Act will impact immigrant communities.
