The Western Division Housing Court Lawyer for the Day program provides legal representation for landlords, or the rare tenant who is ineligible for CLA representation, in emergency hearings.  Volunteer attorneys come to the Western Housing Court and are present to help litigants who have a housing court case on that day. The Court sends in pro se litigants as needed. HCLC staff and volunteer law students are available for administrative support to complete Client Intake and Feedback forms. The attorney can provide brief legal advice, negotiate with the other side, and represent the client in either mediation or a hearing.  If interested please complete survey here or contact the Hampden County Legal Clinic at legalclinic@hcbar.org.
