Non-Profit Lawyer for the Day provides brief out-of-court legal advice on structural issues, such as: liability of its directors and officers, statutory requirements, successfully obtaining a 501(c) tax exemption letter, and the successful creation of the governance structure and credibility of the organization. This program is held virtually over zoom.  HCLC staff or law students assist volunteers in completing attorney feedback forms so all you have to do is give the advice.
