Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards

In furtherance of SJC Rule 6.1, Voluntary Pro Bono Publico Service, the Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services annually presents awards to honor those in the legal profession who have demonstrated outstanding and exceptional commitment to providing unpaid legal services to those in need.

The Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services (Committee) presents the Adams Pro Bono Publico Awards (Adams Awards) each year. Named for attorneys John Adams and John Quincy Adams, the Adams Awards honor Massachusetts lawyers, law students, law firms, and legal organizations that have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to providing pro bono services for the benefit of individuals of limited means.
