Lawyering Across Languages - Training

Many of VLP's clients are limited English proficient. In order to ensure quality and timely services to this population, VLP provides interpreters in these cases.

This training, presented by Leonor Figueroa-Feher, Training Manager of the Office of Court Interpreter Services, is designed for volunteer attorneys to gain skills around working with interpreters and how to effectively communicate across cultural and linguistic barriers.
