Senior Partners for Justice

Organization: Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association (VLP)

Pro bono project established in 2002 by the late Hon. Edward M. Ginsburg, a retired Associate Justice of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. The idea for this project grew out of Judge Ginsburg's observations of the struggles of pro se litigants as they tried to represent themselves in divorce, paternity, child support, custody and other family law matters. Seeking to build on existing resources, Senior Partners teamed up with the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association (VLP) to provide the case referrals, infrastructure and administrative support that have allowed Senior Partners to thrive.
