Wage Theft Clinics
Organization: Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association (VLP)
The Volunteer Lawyers Project is excited to announce its partnership with the Attorney General's Office, Fair Labor Division, and various community partners to combat wage theft and worker exploitation through a Wage Theft Clinic. These monthly clinics will provide much-needed assistance to aggrieved employees by providing workers with limited legal consultation and information related to workers’ rights law.
Because this project is a Limited Assistance Representation (LAR) project, the attorney should have completed a do-it-yourself LAR training consisting of written materials and a video or live training. Click here for links to LAR training materials and forms.
The Volunteer Lawyers Project provides primary malpractice insurance for all pro bono work done under this project. Click here to sign up.
